The Chili cook off in this year at AWC is from 10am-2 pm on November 8, 2007. There are total six counters of chili for us to vote. After tasting all kinds of chili, I think this AWC culinary arts program veggie chili is the best one.

AWC Adult Education

AWC adult welding student Raul Rodriguez cuts a piece of metal, top photo, using a chop saw in his welding class Wednesday night November 7, 2007. This cutting task is in preparation to practice welding as evidenced in the picture above. He is preparing himself for better employment in the construction trades. The students have classes in the evenings so they may continue their regular jobs during the day. AWC provides a learning experience in many fields of the construction trades.

A Happy Accident

For my daughters annual Halloween birthday party, the lighting was bad, but I was happy to see she was still illuminated...now if only I had photoshop to crop that arm out, that'd be awesome!
