Deep Glow
This tulip was part of an experiment done in my garage on a Sunday afternoon. The tulip was 'painted' with the light of a flashlight, painted onto the flower, the shutter was held open. The effect gives the flower a deep glowing effect that is warm and appealing to the eye.

Did you have a light behind it? Inside? Along with going over the outside with the flashlight?? I like it.
Nice.
I did have a flashlight behind the tulip , I also ran the other flashlight around the edges many times to get this picture.
Thank you, it took a great deal of time to get this effect and it was better than I had hoped for.
I've played a fair amount with long exposures and flashlights, sparklers, etc. in my youth.
I gave up on it because I just couldn't get anything I liked.
This flower and Robert's toy soldier are very well done.
