From the Gemini, I saw Yuma in a whole other light. Yeah, it's still mostly sand and fields but it was breathtaking. The bottom picture is shortly after lift off from about 250 feet in the air. Unfortunately, I just had my old camera and not the Nikon...so sorry it's blurry.

Chinenye, 20, has not only planned to become Homecoming Queen but has also set forth other goals as she majors in Nursing and is also currently on the AWC Dance Squad.

I sort of liked these too but didn't get the guy's name- is he faculty?

'Chilly' Competition!

I like the expression on her face in the second one but the light is in her face and the guy is sort of lingering in the back (although he is eating some chili!)...?

Chili Cook Off !!!!


The Chili cook off in this year at AWC is from 10am-2 pm on November 8, 2007. There are total six counters of chili for us to vote. After tasting all kinds of chili, I think this AWC culinary arts program veggie chili is the best one.

Teaching Social Status


Kevin Mann, AWC current English as Second language professor, is presenting the social status of United States in Professor Schubert English 101 class in November 1, 2007. As a guest speaker he did a really good job, and most of the students enjoy the presentation very much.
