Hilary's photo essay

Yuma Shriners Don Templeton and Jon Greener prepare there "tiny cars" and themselves for the parade.

Kofa students__________ and __________ put glow sticks on there instruments to aww the judges. Kofa's band won the contest for best band in the parade.

(I will see if I can find the names of the band students)

Announcer of the parade, Misty, of local radio station 95.1 consults with the judges about passing floats.

Tradition of the Yuma light parade is the lighted up train engine. This train has over a thousand lights and participates every year.

The Humaine Society of Yuma gets families involved. They had workers families bring their pets to walk next to their work truck.

Hey Hillary,

This is some of your strongest work yet. Good job of handling a tough lighting situation. You got beat up on the daylight images. It looks like you left the "incandescent" setting on your camera. That's why those first two pix are blue.

You shot mostly medium-range images. There are no real details or wide shots. The announcer shot might be considered a detail, and the train might be a wide shot, but they are really not extreme enough.
