USMC Drill Team
This is from a scan of a photo I took during a drill team performance in 2005. The Sgt. was returning the rifle to the Lance Cpl. after inspecting it. Photo by Robert Neno.
This reminds me, though, that I need to talk about "merges"--things in the background like poles, edges of walls, tree limbs and other vertical/horizontal objects in the background that steal clarity and distract from the main image.
That pole in the background of your photo just kills me because it intersects with the rifle. To me it's a huge distraction.

Really nice timing and good overall composition.
