Really good. I was out in it last night. Drove back from YPG to Ave.B at around 1:30. Stopped twice on the way back to try and take some pics. Nothing good though. Where did you take it from??

Dome Valley, but this was from another storm a few months ago, the power was out so I sat outside for a couple hours just catching lightening. This was the most dramatic, as you said it is frustrating....I missed some great strikes, drove me nuts.

That's a really strong lightning pic.

It used to be especially frustrating to shoot lightning with film because you wasted so many frames and then you always missed great stuff when you were changing rolls.

I'm curious about your technique Jackie. That doesn't look like an overly long, time exposure. Were you on a tripod for that one? I can't get the exif data. Do you remember what exposure you used?

I looked it up and it was f5.6 for 3 seconds ,ISO 100 , would it help to up the ISO?

I did use a tripod and had my camera on bulb setting so I could hold the shutter open, I took about 300 shots to got about 5 that I liked, digital makes that possible.

I see no need to raise the ISO. I'm one for keeping the ISO as low as possible whenever possible.
